What started in 2017 as a local half and full marathon with a few thousand runners has grown into one of the biggest running events in Flanders. In 2026, more than 12,000 runners and walkers will take the start, and the marathon sold out for the third year in a row.

The concept has proven itself, and we’re sticking to it. The course through Bruges and the surrounding polders is flat and fast, making it ideal for chasing a personal best. Every year, many participants run the fastest time of their lives here. Thousands of supporters line the course and bring the atmosphere, from the first kilometre all the way to the finish in the heart of Bruges.
